Sara Rappee, an artist and jewelry designer from Evansville, Indiana, fell about 60 feet at around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Equality Fire Chief Cole Baker told the Evansville Courier & Press. The incident occurred at the Theo Lacy Facility in Orange County, California on September 12, according to a statement released by the Orange County District Attorney’s office. Henry Montgomery walked out of prison Wednesday after spending his adult life at the Louisiana State Penitentiary for a crime he was convicted of in 1963. At 17, he was convicted of shooting and killing East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputy Charles Hurt. Now 75, Montgomery was granted parole by a three-member board’s unanimous vote.
