We’ll have the latest news on these players throughout the morning and afternoon.

WEEK 5 RANKINGS: Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker

Is Ty Montgomery playing in Week 5?

Montgomery (ribs) practiced much of the week, but a “doubtful” tag ahead of Green Bay’s late-afternoon kickoff with the Cowboys suggests he almost certainly won’t play.

Jamaal Williams, who wasn’t listed on the injury report despite hurting his knee in last Thursday’s game, and Aaron Jones will share primary RB duties. Many believe Williams will get the bulk of the playing time, but no one really knows how this will shake out. Both make for high-risk, high-reward options, but given the matchup, you can sneak both in at flex.

Wendell Smallwood injury update

UPDATE: Smallwood is officially INACTIVE.

Smallwood (knee) didn’t practice all week, and the belief is he won’t play against the Cardinals.

That opens the door for more carries by LeGarrette Blount and more playing time in general for Corey Clement, who could easily function as Philadelphia’s primary receiving back. The severity of Smallwood’s injury is unknown, but Clement makes for a nice stash on the chance Smallwood is out multiple weeks.
