Three explosions were detonated near Dortmund’s bus en route to a Champions League quarter-final tie with Monaco at Signal Iduna Park.
Bartra seriously injured in bus attack
One explosion shattered the bus window and injured Bartra, who underwent surgery on his wrist on Tuesday evening.
The centre-back posted on Instagram and Twitter on Wednesday, saying he was doing “much better” and thanking fans for their support.
Bartra was the only person injured in the attack. Police detained one suspect on Wednesday .
