David Lee Wilson, 57, allegedly overheard his fiancee and another person discussing in another room how they thought IndyCar was better than NASCAR during Sunday’s running of the Indianapolis 500.

Wilson, who according to his fiancee had been drinking all day, reportedly interjected himself into the argument and eventually grabbed her by the neck with both hands when no one agreed with his affinity for NASCAR.
Wilson admitted to yelling at those he said were “talking trash about NASCAR,” but denied any physical altercation, according to the report.
