The circle is supposed to create a restricted zone to keep defensive players from drawing a charge underneath the basket.
Idaho’s technical officially was an “administrative technical foul” and tied the game 16-16.
Idaho won the game 79-71. Who knows what the outcome would have been if charge circle were present.?
