Interestingly, Komal Thatal has been left out of the Arrows squad by the Portuguese coach. It must be noted that the 17-year-old was fielded in the opening Under-17 World Cup clash against USA but was benched in the subsequent games against Colombia and Ghana.
It is believed that the former Benfica B coach didn’t play him in the final two Under-17 World Cup games owing to his size.
Komal is a free player and is in talks with at least three Indian Super League (ISL) teams.
