Bajaj, who is a regular feature on the Minerva bench, would be unable to take a seat in the stands as well due to the nature of the ban.

The ban does not just apply for I-League games, but for all AIFF games, which include the U-18 I-League as well, where Bajaj’s Minerva Punjab’s youth side plays.

The I-League CEO, Sunando Dhar, told Goal that this ban is a result of too many crosses against his name in the match commissioner’s report throughout the league.

“The match commissioner report had marked him out in three different games for offensive behaviour. There has also been a breach of the code of conduct. The disciplinary committee have made their decision, and that is that,” he laid down.
