Fox made the biggest signing of the 2022 NFL offseason, inking Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady to a futures contract on a colossal 10-year, $375 million deal, per reports.

From the “Marchand and Ourand Podcast,” the sports business insiders painted a picture of when the talks for Brady intensified, and Aikman had a big hand in it:
Aikman, who had been with Fox since 2001, made the jump to ESPN alongside play-by-play partner Joe Buck earlier this offseason on a reported five-year, $90 million deal with the network.
