The three-hour show will air live on NBC starting at 8 p.m. ET. Viewers can watch the awards ceremony via live stream on NBC’s website and app. Those with Hulu Live TV, YouTube TV, Sling and PlayStation Vue services can access the stream on those platforms as well.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association—the award show’s organizers who determine nominees and award winners—has teamed up with Dick Clark Productions and Facebook to live stream the Golden Globe two-hour preshow for the third consecutive year. The two-hour HFPA Presents Golden Globes Red Carpet Live will stream exclusively on the social media network starting at 6 p.m. ET.
The preshow will feature red carpet coverage of nominees and more celebrities as they arrive to the event in addition to interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage of the ceremony. Sofia Carson, AJ Gibson, Jeannie Mai and Scott Mantz are set to serve as hosts of the official Golden Globe preshow.
Throughout the night, the HFPA will also share top from the show including photos, videos and highlights from backstage on the Golden Globes’ Instagram account. Content will be featured on @GlodenGlobes feed in addition to Instagram Stories and Instagram TV.
The HFPA will team up with The Hollywood Reporter after the ceremony for an hourlong post-show featuring winner interviews and celebrity chats, which will be streamed on Twitter.
Meanwhile, E! has a boatload of coverage planned to air before, during and after the 2020 Golden Globes. The network will kick the celebration off with its annual program E! Countdown to the Red Carpet: The 2020 Golden Globe Awards beginning at 4 p.m. ET. Then red carpet favorites Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic will return as hosts of E! Live From the Red Carpet: The 2020 Golden Globe Awards, which will include coverage of celebrity arrivals, fashion interviews and more at 6 p.m. ET. E!’s coverage of the event will wrap with E! After Party: The 2020 Golden Globe Awards at 11 p.m. ET.
Hollywood’s elite are expected to not only grace the red carpet but also take to the stage during the night. Nominees like Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon, Leonardo DiCaprio and many others are slated to present awards.
